From the first signup to the final roster
The same alliance, characters and plan across FarmOps and Discord.
Publish event cards in Discord. Members respond where they already chat, and officers see those responses in the same FarmOps calendar. Use month, week or agenda view to see busy days and free days.
Members request Desert or Canyon Storm through Discord and choose the Team A or B times they can attend. Requests appear in the existing Storm planner. Officers pick the roster, publish it, and members confirm their place.
Connect a FarmOps account to Discord, then verify a character with a four-digit code delivered in private game chat. Officer approval is available when game verification cannot be used. Each connection keeps its verification method visible.
Event reminders, weekly agendas and alliance briefings keep the plan visible. Members can choose personal messages, event types, reminder timing and quiet hours in their own timezone.
Collect availability, record absences, run polls and open Train coordination from the Discord hub. Officers work with the same characters, responses and assignments already used in FarmOps.
Choose channels for events, announcements and officer alerts. Synchronize configured member roles, use event discussion threads, and optionally mirror published events into Discord Scheduled Events.
What a Storm week looks like
- 1
Officers publish the event
Choose the date and the registered Team A/B times in the calendar. The Discord event card gives members the plan and a place to respond.
- 2
Members request their place
A member runs /farmops storms, chooses when they can fight, and sends their request. It appears in FarmOps alongside requests made in the app.
- 3
The planner turns requests into teams
Officers review requests in the Storm planner, select starters and substitutes, and publish assignments. Members confirm and receive the reminders they opted into.
Use the FarmOps Alliance Starter for event channels, Storm teams, member roles and a private officer area. It creates a new Discord server; your existing server stays as it is.
Install the bot and connect your FarmOps alliance after creating the server. Discord Bot is included in Alliance Pro and currently in BETA.
Permissions for the Discord Bot
Discord lists these permissions before you connect. FarmOps uses them for the channels, roles and events you configure.
- Event cards and reminders
- View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links and Read Message History.
- Verified members and team roles
- Manage Roles. The FarmOps role must sit above the roles it assigns.
- Event discussion threads
- Create Public Threads, Send Messages in Threads and Manage Threads, including closing threads when events finish.
- Discord Scheduled Events
- Create Events, which also lets FarmOps update or remove the events it created.
Good to know before you start
One alliance subscription includes the Discord Bot. Members do not need a separate paid bot account. BETA availability is currently limited to the pilot.
View plans and pricing →FarmOps signups record availability and fight requests. Officers still complete any required registration and event activation in the game. Templates and repeated schedules should be checked against your server’s current game cycle.
Private game-code verification requires the FarmOps game-chat service to be available. Codes expire after ten minutes; officer approval remains an alternative.
